B&R Motors was established in 1983 by Brian and Robert Smith and has been trading for over 30 years. The company is now owned and run by Kevan Younger who took over the business in April 2006. Kevan started his apprenticeship at John Rutherford & Sons Ltd in1983 at the Station Garage, Cornhill on Tweed, working on BMW Saab and Daihatsu motor vehicles. After Station Garage was closed in 1993 Kevan started his own business in a unit at Wooler Road, Cornhill on Tweed, trading as Younger Motors. He operated from there until 1998 when he moved into Tweedbridge Garage on the High Street in Coldstream, which he ran until moving to B&R Motors in 2006.
